[OT] Lightweight Java-XML serialization frameworks

I am trying to find a lightweight Java-XML serialization framework. I
thought there was something in OSCore but I don't think XMLUtils is exactly
what I want.

Does anyone have an opinion of things like xstream, betwixt or anything else
(JAXB type stuff, castor, hibernate - perhaps a bit on the heavy side ?)

Basically it is for reading & writing configuration data that one on hand
will be used & modified by a Java UI but also will be sent to a device that
can handle the XML and interpret it.

It would be nice if the generated XML was somewhat human readable (well to
the extent that any XML is, but I think you know what I mean)
