[Opensymphony-oscache] Cache configuration/setup and accesability by different WebApplications

I am sord of new to this. We have several web applications running in one web container. Can OSCache be setup so they have access to it. One of them will function as admin that will allow to add data to OSCache the rest of them will be able and access this data. Do you have any good samples that I can used to get jump start.
