In this particular case the action above this problematic action also uses the ChainResult. However, previously we had this problem with actions which did not use the ChainResult. In one instance where it did use the ChainResult we removed the ChainResult and it fixed the problem. However, moving the action up or down fixed it as well. Currently the problem is not occurring locally and only on one action on our production server (this is why this problem makes us so nervous). We will try and recreate the problem again locally and then downgrade to 2.2.2 and let you know the results.
