VS: stateful session beans and concurrent calls

Hi,

I haven't tried Open-amf yet as I only recently became aware of this
open-source alternative to Macromedia's Flash Remoting. I also have very
little experience in J2EE development but I have been developing a
relatively simple J2EE application using Flash Remoting and Enterprise Java
Beans. I've been running Flash Remoting on Macromedia JRun.

I'm having problems with concurrent calls to stateful session beans. As the
EJB spec states, concurrent calls are not allowed to stateful session beans
and result in a RemoteException, yet they are quite hard to totally get rid
of in a http-based system like Flash Remoting and on the other hand I need
to have stateful beans to store session information for the user.

I've read something about synchronizing access to a stateful ejb in the web
tier by controlling all web tier access to the bean using synchronization
primitives, but I have absolutely no clue on how to implement this solution
with MM's Flash Remoting which uses MM's flash-remoting-ear or something to
handle the http-requests from the client and forwards them directly to the
session beans.

Does Open-amf (possibly with JBoss or even with JRun) offer any solutions to
this problem?
