The org.openamf.AdvancedGateway class provides some security 
capabilities.  Check to see if AdvancedGateway meets your needs.

Other strategies:

1) implement a servlet filter

2) subclass/extend org.openamf.DefaultGateway 

3) subclass/extend the JavaServiceInvoker
