Debugging

Hello everyone. I'm new to actionscript and J2EE application
development., but I have some experience with standard java. I'm
trying to use flash remoting with a simple web application using
OpenAMF and ASTranslator. I'm having trouble returning an ASObject
back to the Flash client. I can translate a Java object to an ASObject
without losing member attributes or methods, but the Flash client will
only recieve an object that has no properties or methods. I can't find
any good documentation that will help me debug this problem. I would
like to see more debugging information on the server side, but I have
no idea how this is done. Can anyone help?

Also, System.out for the application server prints the following
message when serializing an ASObject:

2005-04-19 19:55:51,077 : AMFSerializer.serializeMessage : Serializing
Message, for more info turn on debug level

How do I do that?
