Connecting to webservice

Greetings

I've already posted this, but feel I should give more info.

I am needing to connect to a webservice via OpenAMF - if that is
possible?

I would rather use OpenAMF to connect to the webservice as it will have
performance benefits rather than connecting directly to the webservice.

Leif Wells- thanks for your reply - I don't have a Java backend. The
webservice that I'm trying to connect to is developed by another
company. Also, if I was to connect directly to the webservice I will
need a SOAP proxy. Using OpenAMF will eliminate the need to create one.

I'm not a Java developer, so would really appreciate if someone can give
me a run down of how to connect to a web service using openAMF.
