well, ive finally got my rudimentary setup working, still just with the 
default gateway, and no service browser :(

one thing that helped is that there are some as2 examples in cvs. I just 
checked out the whole openamf module (the lowercase one) as a new 
project in eclipse.

from there if you go to src->web->examples theres a client2_as2 example 
which i used as reference.

I didnt actually compile and run it. It doesnt look like it will compile 
from the version in CVS because the Person class says :

class org.openamf.examples.Person implements org.openamf.examples.IhaveName

but there is no IhaveName interface file.

of course you can always use the view cvs on sourceforge to look 
through, but i have a feeling i'll be looking deeper into this thing 
quite often :)
