Yes and yes. However it's all clientside/as changes as far as I know, there's
no change in the AMF packets sent, or basic data types.

The only change for Flash8 is you'll need to make sure you download the latest
remoting install, as it wasn't working until a few weeks ago with Flash8 IDE
(if your dragging and dropping the remoting components rather than having them
expanded in a common classpath.
