I use OpenAMF for production application. I don't consider it dead at
all .. RC11 works very well, as have previous "Release Candidates."

I would love to see RC12 or a 1.0 release, personally. If nothing else,
what is in CVS now actually compiles. I had a very difficult time
getting RC11 to compile, but had no problem once I pulled down new code
from CVS.

re: OpenAMF works great nowadays and only needs people contributing a
help feature to become a 1.0 final release.

What "help feature" are we looking for? I assume you just mean better
documentation, not any new feature, right? If there was something
straight-forward that needs doing, such as documentation, I could
contribute some energy. I would love to see the project as 1.0 status.
