Purging Persistent Messages.

Hi,

I am using durable consumers and persistent messages. 
I found that even after delievering all the messages to all the durable consumers the persistent messages are not deleted from the database (I am using Oracle). Is this OK or I am missing some settings in configuration fils etc?

I am using Open JMS version 0.7.4.
