Summary: Messages get lost when time is adjusted backwards

Initial Comment:
This is tested on RedHat Linux 9

Tried this:
Start OpenJms
runconsumer.sh -topic=xyz -count=100
runpublisher.sh -topic=xyz -count=2
(at this point the messages are shown by the consumer)
(now, tamper with time:)
date -s +"-10 hours"
runpublisher.sh -topic=xyz -count=2
(at this point the messages are not shown by the
consumer)

Sometimes messages get lost when turning back time
with 10 minutes. Sometimes the consumer starts
recieving messages when time is adjusted forward to its
original state.

The problem is that if someone decides to correct the
time by adjusting it backwards, messages get lost, and
that is not desirable.
