Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Jasper van der Bijl (jaspervdb) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Queue Sender Receiver send and receive timeout problem Initial Comment: My server and client runs on different networks, when the client looses connection with the server (over internet), and the client was sending a message, it does not throw an exception on connection break, it simply hangs indefinitely. The same thing happens with my queue sender and receiver I run the server embedded in the JVM, I configure the server using the config files supplied in the examples. Could this be a timeout variable that needs to be configured? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Tim Anderson (tanderson) Date: 2005-06-30 09:53 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=557161 You don't specify the version or connector you are using, however in 0.7.6.x and earlier the TCP and HTTP connectors didn't always detected disconnection: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php? func=detail&aid=1023188&group_id=54559&atid=474136 This was fixed in the 0.7.7-alpha-1 release. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=474136&aid=1229833&group_id=54559 ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Discover Easy Linux Migration Strategies from IBM.
