The log4j configuration is described here:
http://wiki.apache.org/logging-log4j/Log4jXmlFormat
For reasons yet to be determined, specifying a
<root> logger doesn't work. It may be being overridden
by a 3rd party log4j configuration.
However, the following minimal configuration should display
the addresses the server is listening on:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<!DOCTYPE log4j:configuration SYSTEM "log4j.dtd">
<log4j:configuration xmlns:log4j='http://jakarta.apache.org/log4j/'>
<appender name="STDOUT" class="org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender">
<layout class="org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout">
<param name="ConversionPattern"
value="%d{HH:mm:ss.SSS} %-5p [%t] - %m\n"/>
</layout>
</appender>
<category name="org.exolab.jms.server.net.RemoteServerConnector"
additivity="false">
<priority value="INFO"/>
<appender-ref ref="STDOUT"/>
</category>
</log4j:configuration>
