Virtual Memory

Hello All,

I am running OpenJMS v 0.7.7 on a Red Hat Linux Enterprise v3 Server. I noticed that after a couple of days of the service running, the Virtual Memory has spiked to 1,176,956 K in size. I have enough memory on the box that this is not causing an immediate problem, but was wondering what could be using so much memory. Previously, when running v0.7.6.1 I did not notice this. (Not saying it did not happen, just that I was not paying attention if it did).

The break down of the usage is as follows:

VmData: 1,109,004 K
VmStk: 2,036 K
VmExe: 56K
VmLib: 7,140K

It would appear that the memory is in the data, but I only have 60 messages on the Queue. These messages contain a JavaBean that takes up 1K on the file system.

Any Ideas?
