RE: Virtual Memory

The clients did not seem to grow, We are monitoring them closely now.  I
have several gc reports and server memory traces that we are collecting.  I
have looked at my code over the past couple of days and think that you are
right, if an unexpected error occurs, then there is a chance the session
would remain open.  I am fixing that today and will let the app run over
the weekend to see if the problem reoccurs.  I will post the findings
either way.

OK - are your clients using more memory than expected?
Its possible there is a leak in the server, but it could
also be that your clients are creating sessions, producers and consumers,
and not closing them.

 I have two applications that open a single connection to the OpenJMS
 server. My applications do not send a lot of information via messaging,
 they are only used as a bridge to each other so my Connection is in a
 singleton which will maintain one open connection while the application is
 running. It is closed only when the server is shut down. I will change
 this to a connection pool in the near future which will open and close the
 connections while the bridge is not being used, but have not coded that
 part yet.

 Are any clients active?  Is it possible they may be
 failing to close connections/sessions etc?
