Horrible performance when publisher connects remotely

When I have all my subscribers, JMSserver and one publisher running locally I am getting around 40+ events / second. When I run my publisher on a different machine and connect to the JMS server using the provider url tcp:ip address:port the performance drops to 0.5 events/sec (that is one event every 2 seconds). This is not due to network latency. Ideas? Also is it possible to setup multiple servers where the publishers/subscribers connect to their local server and the server forwards the messages to each other ? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
