Hi Tim, Thanks for the suggestions. i was actually looking to see if there is any way i can achieve the objective (either directly or reflectively) without modifying the source of OpenJMS itself. Also, i'm not using an embedded connector, but a TCP connector instead. It just so happens that i need to programmatically start/stop the OpenJMS from within my application.
