Hi all,
We have to shut down a JMS client (closing all connections and the context)
but it does not exit properly. In fact running in debug we noticed that two
threads are still running: ManagedConnectionReaper1 and Clock Daemon.
Our supposition is that the complete termination of OpenJMS interaction
depends on the Clock Deamon thread which is not terminating.
I've found some information regarding this argument in two threads with topics
"Lingering connections" started the 20/08/2005 and "Client not stopping
gracefully intermittely" started the 21/03/2006.
My question is: is something changed from the last post that is about 7 months
old?
If not, is it possible to create a work around to avoid the necessity of
calling System.exit(int) (which causes us serious problems) to get rid of
those pending threads?
BTW we are using 0.7.7alpha1 version because the OpenJMS alpha3 server
process, on our HP 64 bit AMD running fedora core 4 OS (MySQL 4 persistence),
saturates the processor on the first message exchange (no significant log).
Did anyone experience similar problems?
Thank you in advance.

Have a nice day, bye...
