(no subject)

We are using OpenJMS 0.7.6.1 and having a problem in which the server just locks up, will not accept any new published messages, and cannot be shut down.  We have to kill the process and restart the server in order to recover.  This happens after a couple of weeks of continuously processing 1-10 non-persistent messages/second to 10 non-durable subscribers using TCP/IP connector.  Our situation is almost like the following description I found on the net at http://www.velocityreviews.com/forums/t150924-openjms-lockup.html:

"At the site where I work, we are using OpenJMS to process 30000 message an hour.  However, it appears that OpenJMS will lock-up after having processed a large number of requests and no messages will be further processed.  This situation is corrected when OpenJMS is restarted and then everything will continue processing correctly.  However, this situation obviously cannot work in a Production environment.
 
 Here is the environment where OpenJMS is used in Production:
 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4
 Java 1.4.2
 OpenJMS 0.7.6.1

Can anyone answer the two questions above?  I see that there is an 0.7.7 alpha 3 available for download.  Does anyone want to comment on the stability of this new version vice 0.7.6.1.
