Using admin to start openjms

I am able to start openjms using sh startup.sh and sh openjms.sh start but
when I open the admin screen and select start JMS I get the following error

Failed to Startup OpenJMSServer:
java.io.IOException: /path details/bin/startup.sh: cannot execute
Check config file

I am running it on OS X if that makes any difference?
