Hi,

I have never used Oracle JMS. But I have started with OpenJMS with
Java and I am using it to replace old "server/client" socket
programming. It's really quite nice.

I use OpenJMS on a linux server. I have my "server" program publish
messages (java objects) to a topic on the OpenJMS server. My clients
are all durable subscribers to that topic and connect to the JMS
server to retrieve them. When the clients want to communicate with the
server they publish messages on a different topic on the JMS server to
which the server is a durable subscriber to.

And it goes on back-and-forth publishing and subscribing to topics.
