Eclipse Compiler Warnings

Eclipse gives me lots of compiler warnings when I open the source
code. They include unused imports, references to generic types that
should be parameterized, static members being accessed in a non-static
way, serializable classes that don't set version id's, unchecked
casts, etc. Can these be cleaned up for the next release?

Also, it looks like "SFieldMeta.isDescritpive()" is misspelled.

What is the distinction between SFieldMeta.getFieldName() and
SFieldScalar.getColumnName()?
