Oops, mistype.  Obviously I'm asking about creating Plain Old Java
Objects from SimpleORM objects, not from Hibernate objects.  I've
given up on Hibernate. 

Also I have a couple of simple enhancements to SimpleORM that I'd like
to check into the subversion repository -- can I get write permission
for the repository and/or email them to someone?
