What exactly does your class do? The examples create a spreadsheet from a database. The missing part would use alter table statements to update an existing schema. You can do that in a largely database independent way using JDBC meta data. It is quite "crude" I have to say but it seems to be working so far. It works only for mysql. I was wondering whether anyone is interested in having a look at it as I havent had the chance to write tests for it but I was hoping maybe another eye might have a look and suggest or even make improvements on it. I am also hoping that this may be a base where we can have classes such as this that support different databases. > >If there is anyone who is interested please let me know so that I can mail you a copy of the same. > >Kind regards. > >Abel > Spreadsheet Detective, Southern Cross Software Queensland Pty Limited 54 Gerler Street Bardon, Queensland 4065, Australia.
