SDataLoader only inserts records.  It is a toy used for unit tests.

I think generally just use the pattens from the examples to (re)create tables.

It would be cool to have an alter table generator, but that would be an advanced project you should probably leave alone.  Instead, once your schema is stable, just issue them manually where appropriate.   Data migration is a big area, and one where SimpleOrm's generalized design could be well used.  But it is not an itch anyone has had time to scratch to date.
