deadlock

My database server is hitting a deadlock condition it can't seem to
resolve.  It's just keeps hopelessly looping (see log below).  This
server is running on dual-processor system.  When I copy the database &
run it on another machine (single processor), I'm not able to duplicate
the problem.
  
Anyone have any idea what's going on here and how to correct it?
