Yes, patches are most welcome, especially for the 1.2.x series. Ideally there 
is a junit test sent together with the patch that displays the problem before 
and succeeds after applying the patch. Please use the patches section of the 
sourceforge project pages 
(https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=39695&atid=425955) to submit 
patches.
