is wrong of course
run ozoneAnt FROM THE DIRECTORY E:\jdk1.4\bin\ozone-1.2\samples\simple
after environment variables has been set!

One more try:
E:\jdk1.4\bin\ozone-1.2\samples\simple>set OZONE_HOME=E:\jdk1.4\bin\ozone-1.2
E:\jdk1.4\bin\ozone-1.2\samples\simple>set PATH=%OZONE_HOME%\bin;%PATH%
E:\jdk1.4\bin\ozone-1.2\samples\simple>ozoneAnt

Where E:\jdk1.4\bin\ozone-1.2\samples\simple> is the directory you should be 
in NOT something that is part of the command. There are 3 commands that you 
run from the directory E:\jdk1.4\bin\ozone-1.2\samples\simple. They are

set OZONE_HOME=E:\jdk1.4\bin\ozone-1.2
set PATH=%OZONE_HOME%\bin;%PATH%
ozoneAnt
