No boy..., to run an application written in java language you just
don't mind the operating system!...

i just told you that it's better to program in linux :P, but never
that i won't work because of that...

the 'strange' .jar extension..., it's a library file.., the jar (java
archive) is just like a .zip (you may choose to have compression or
not) it is meant to grouping or 'packaging' java .classes so that you
could use them from another program.

i.e.: i code an application, then you 're coding another
application... and you believe that you may need some features of the
application i coded... so you don't need my source code... i would
make a .jar out of my compiled code (.classes) and give you the .jar.

Ozone popped out lot .jars and thats ok..., there is no windows/linux
distro of ozone... it can work on both as it is...

what you need to do is to, re read the user manual and then if there
is something you don't understand there... don't mind asking...

to start ozone you should execute a .bat file in the /bin directory of
the ozone distro you downloaded, check the manual for parameters...

then if something goes wrong... please post the errors here...
