“Help is needed for casualty sportsman”

I would like to ask you for help in the action of raising money in aid of
our friend, Kuba Tokarz.

A year ago he won Poland's Judo Championship. Now, he is paralysed. He was
attacked with a knife in one of the pubs in Wroclaw. Only an expensive
surgery can help him. Otherwise, he will spend the rest of his life in the
wheelchair.

 

The tragedy took place at the Vulevu pub in Wroclaw, Poland. Kuba Tokarz, A
23 y.o. student of Academy of Physical Education, came there with his
friends. At about 3 a.m. a brawl started. Several bruisers started beating
his friend. Kuba came to his aid. A moment later he was lying in a puddle of
blood.

 

He was stabbed twice with a knife. One of the blows was critical - the blade
has cut the spinal cord. Only a surgery that costs $ 15,000 can restore
sense in Kuba’s legs. Many sportsmen and artists from Poland as well
as from other countries take part in this action.

 

Therefore, I would like you to send me your photo (or poster, CD) with your
autograph that we could auction. The money will be donated to the surgery
and further rehabilitation of our friend.
