Where could I find the "container recorder"?
I'd be curious to see what it caches to improve performance.

I like it too. And this is needed for web 
environment - request scoped container must be created
and populated really fast.  At the moment there is
"container recorder" which avoids parsing / execution
of  configuration scripts -  caching dependency
resolution information would surely improve
performance.
