You cannot simply claim that in such cases they always are derived from the noun. The only proposal you can blame me for is the Life/Living, but the problem is here that "living" is adjective and ing-form of the verb at once. AutoStarted/AutoStarting AutoInstantiated/AutoInstantiating AutoLife/AutoLiving (you may actually drop the Auto prefix here - either it's living or dead <g>) Is this better? All is about native speaking and currently you should be able to use the already chosen names in a sentence like: 1/ component is XXX 2/ factory supports YYY XXX = cached, locked, synchronized, HiddenImplementation(?), PropertyApplicator(?)
