Yep. This is convergence - but I'm not very happy with
duplication of ocnverters (though there is nothing
that can be done about it) 

I think we also can shift conversion  logic from
parameter to adapter ( thus eliminating need for
config parameter )  - we will need config adapter
then, 
which would respond to inquires of all convertivble
types. Such config adapter (behaviour)  would justify
addConfig() in interface, and also simplify scripting
stuff ( we are back to constant / reference routine - 
no need to intruduce new xml elements )
