Its better to have ones in Svn that use Mvn to generate them constanly  
as Maven makes a mistake in its generation - gems (and others) would  
rely on pico-core.jar rather than the module per se.

If you have changes to make to them Konstantin, for 7.0.x then just  
make the change and check in :-)
