Robert,

Welcome!

It rests on three coding efforts in my opinion -

1) Completion of http://svn.codehaus.org/picocontainer/java/2.x/trunk/nanoextras/struts2/picocontainer-struts2/src/main/java/org/picocontainer/struts2/

This moves the scoped container model to use thread local versus the
old way of record session/request container setup and replay later.
It was working fine, then I put in a Struts2 validator, and it ain't
working now as I need to understand more about Interceptors.

2) With the Struts2 bindings working, the deletion of the Struts1,
WebWork1, WebWork2 bindings, or migration to the same ThreadLocal
model if users are still using those frameworks.

3) The removal of the underpinning ContainerRecorder and most likely
the rest of http://svn.codehaus.org/picocontainer/java/2.x/trunk/nano/container/src/java/org/nanocontainer/integrationkit/

There is some implicit debate amongst committers for this of course.

After Nano pieces ship, I personally would like to spend time on the
JRuby bindings.
