Yep. It's really cool, and definitely could be 
something for waffle ( How do you call your action
mapper - registrator? per directory / path, 
security / precondition checks, activation of menu
entries... )

looked at it it's nice and smpier than webwork. 
as said before - chains could be good in this context.
