It can be one of the container APIs if someone wants to maintain it but
I'm not the slightest bit interested in Avalon anymore. It's not that
great. For the amount of time it's been around they really haven't done
anything spectacular and they've missed a mountain of interesting ideas
available in literature on component architectures. I pretty much feel
the project is going to spiral into the toilet anyway.

If you want to use Plexus as an Avalon container you'll be able to but I
don't see much advantage in it. The whole project is a complete
clusterfuck as I'm sure you'll figure out after browsing the mailing
list for 5 minutes.
