Dude, where´s my databa se?

Hi all,

I'm working on a prevalent system framework for .NET since a year back.
In my ignorance I thought I was working on a novel idea; I googled for days and
found absolutely nothing. Then I came across a reference to prevayler while
reading Jimmy Nilsson's book Applying Domain Driven Design and Patterns.

At first I was a bit disappointed that someone beat me to it but now I'm just puzzled
at why the software industry hasn't been taken by storm. I truly believe the prevalent
system concept can have a major impact on software development and operations.
Surely, some substantial percentage of projects using relational databases would benefit
from a prevalent system. You folks probably don't need convincing.

Do you seasoned users agree or disagree? What percentage market share do you think is viable?
Why aren't we witnessing a greater popularity?

PS. I'm presenting the concept and my implementation, Live Domain,  at a major Scandinavian
conference later this spring.
