Rethinking Prevayler with SSDs?

Looking at what people are doing with SSD RAID arrays is making me
wonder whether Prevayler would be different today. When it was created,
random IO was very expensive. Now it's becoming almost absurdly cheap.
Not as cheap as RAM, but at 6 gigabits per second, it's getting close.

So Klaus (or anybody), do you think you would do anything differently
today?
