Re: Prevayler as an Eclipse project

I fully agree that dev environment specifics should not be in IDE project files.
Luckily, modern IDE's almost never do this.  I've looked at all my Eclipse
".project" and ".classpath" files and none have environment specifics in them.
Likewise, Intellij stores non-environment specific information in ".ipr" and
".iml" files, while the environment specifics are in ".iws" files.  I've seen one
case where there's a hint of environment specifics in a ".ipr".  I can't recall
what it related to, but it was a rare occurrence and didn't impair users in other
environments from using it.

How about we agree to this.  IDE project files should be inspected for development
environment specifics prior to checking into source control.  If none exist check
it in, if they exist then don't.  Problem solved, end of story.
