Robert, I agree with the Transaction/Query/Command terminology arguments. I agree with the "Model"/BusinessSystem terminology arguments. This is a great opportunity for us to standardize our terminology now that there is another big prevalence engine/layer/thing project being driven. Lets try and do that? I must say, though, that if you want to use a different term for marketing purposes and say that it is prevalence-based, ok. But it makes me sad if you simply transcribe the definition of System Prevalence here in your own words: http://livedb.devrex.se/ and give it a different name without mentioning Prevalence, as if it had come from nowhere. It is the same thing Martin Fowler did: https://gist.github.com/1186975 Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Virtualization & Cloud Management Using Capacity Planning Cloud computing makes use of virtualization - but cloud computing also focuses on allowing computing to be delivered as a service. http://www.accelacomm.com/jaw/sfnl/114/51521223/ _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe go to the end of this page: http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/prevayler-discussion _______________________________________________ "Databases in Memoriam" -- http://www.prevayler.org
