If we look at ACIDity as a continuum, I'm arguing that Prevayler without
rollbacks is still more ACIDic than most databases with rollbacks, since
they don't have true serializable transactions, which is more important to
me personally than rollbacks.

That said, the most practical question for this thread is really: Should
the food taster be restored for the next release? So far we've merely been
rehashing why it was removed. :) As someone who is neither actively using
nor actively contributing to Prevayler, I'm abstaining from that decision.
