Hi Justin, first, the createTransientPrevayler uses the NullSnapshotManager which in turn only invokes the no-arg constructor of the "not used" JavaSerializer. I figured out, switching off the deep copy behaviour does the trick in my test environment, where I use the transient prevayler instance. But, I'd like to have the deep copy action within my tests - to be as close to live systems as possible. Second, I gonna give the configureJournalSerializer and/or configureSnapshotSerializer another shot. Maybe I missed something there.
