Hey guys, What is the fastest way to boot a Prevayler database? I am using standard SDK serialization with Prevayler 2.6. It is working great with a ~300MB snapshot file. My only problem is that it is too slow to boot up. About 15 mins for the first transaction to go through. Has anyone tried FST - Fast Serialization ( https://code.google.com/p/fast-serialization/)? It seems to be a lot faster than the standard implementation on the JDK. However, it does not support class versions and thus schema evolution. Not sure if there is a way around it. Any other ideas?
