Prevayler, Scala, and Reactive Programming?

I'm working my way through the Odersky MOOCs on Scala and Reactive 
Programming <http://www.reactivemanifesto.org/>, which is giving me an 
itch to build something sizable when I'm done, at least as a tech demo. 
And as long as I'm building something like that, I'm inclined to 
incorporate Prevayler somehow.

Has anybody been thinking about what Prevayler means in this world?


As an aside, some very large company recently end-of-lifed a lot of 
boxes, so you can get solid server machines with lots of RAM for cheap. 
I picked up a pair of 72 GB boxes for under $500 each. In case some
