Something Prevayler-like for the mobile web?

Hi, folks! I'm experimenting with a mobile app built using mobile web
tools (Phonegap, enyo, etc).

Is there anything Prevayler-like in that world?

For the moment, I plan to keep all user data on the phone. But thinking
ahead to the future, a mixed desktop+mobile experience is one way this
could go. For that, my first approach, probably influenced by Prevayler,
is to think of user activity as a logged set of changes. Has anybody
seen anything like that for a mixed browser/server use case?

I'm perfectly willing (possibly too willing) to reinvent the wheel if I
have to, but I thought I'd check first.

Thanks,

William
