E.g. by writing in this from a command line: java -version If it writes the version number and vendor name in the console. Then it seems that java has been set up correctly on your system. And you should be able to install Robocode by this command from the command prompt: java -jar robocode-1.9.4.4-setup.jar If the *java *command does not respond correctly, then you need to set up your environment variables so the *PATH *and *JAVA_HOME* are correct.
