   @snoopdave thanks for the info. I ran a quick test and the checkboxes seem work fine without the method call.
   
   @DKARAGODIN since you contributed the original fix, would you like to change it so that:

   all 3 checkboxes use listValue=""
   
   and remove the following method
   https://github.com/apache/roller/blob/19f7f12bcd6d73681e3aa68360bcfa003e495512/app/src/main/java/org/apache/roller/weblogger/pojos/WeblogEntryComment.java#L295-L298
   ?
   
   feel free to force push a new commit to this PR. If you don't want to or don't have time its completely fine.
