I didn't know the utility to backup the post developped by Dave.

Nice information about Google Analytics. Finally it could be nice to have a
field per blog to set the GA ID.
It could be an easily feature to have.

About enhancing the blog with third party widgets, I could add
http://www.addthis.com
It is easy to use and can reach all social network.
At the moment, we are using it into VM for a specific post. I wonder if it
will not be better into administration...

Thanks for the idea about Google search custom engine. I will use it now.
